These perks allow you (regardless whether you're the leader) to set a Club Vibe by interacting with another club member during a gathering. It's best to choose something that matches your club's recommended activities. All 32 skills (including Children Skills) can be bought. These perks increase Skill gain rates for which ever skill you use, and they stack with any other bonus applied including Emotion buffs or Traits. All five of these perks can be bought and stacked upon each other. These perks increase the relationship bonus from using the specified social interactions. These two perks increase the maximum number of Sims for the club to 7 or 8 and must be bought in order. The handshake can also be manually executed with a social interaction. These perks are cosmetic only and are automatically executed when two Sims from the same club start talking to each other. Conversely is the Popular Club perk, which gives all other Sims a small starting boost to relationship scores. The Infamous Club perk makes all other Sims take a relationship penalty when they first meet a Sim who is part of the club, but it discourages other Sims from initiating negative social interactions. These three perks affect how other Sims perceive your club. Simple actions, such as simply being social or eating, will gain those Club Points quickly. Everyone who is doing actions contributes, not just your Sim, so a full eight-Sim club will earn points much faster.

To earn points, perform the recommended club activities during a gathering. You can freely buy perks if you have enough Club Points. To buy a perk, click the small button that looks like an award ribbon in the Club Panel. That way you're not putting other Sims at risk for gathering on you, and you will maintain full control over everyone's actions. To even further exploit the system, you can add Sims only from your own family into a private club.
